Protect payments
Be cautious of bank-transfer pressure, overpayments, gift cards, cryptocurrency requests, fake courier links and requests to move immediately off-platform.
Protect personal information
Do not share passwords, verification codes, full card details or unnecessary identity documents. Use marketplace messaging until you are comfortable proceeding.
Recognise warning signs
Unrealistic prices, copied photographs, refusal to answer basic questions, urgency and inconsistent locations can indicate risk.
Report concerns
Use available report controls and contact support. In an emergency or where a crime is in progress, contact the police.
